Welcome to the Florida State Rally, the second largest rally in the WBBCI. You will be parked at the Sarasota Fairgrounds, within the city limits of Sarasota. This is the prime season in Florida and especially in Sarasota. You will have water and electric at your site.

Sarasota is known for its restaurants. They have some of the finest Amish restaurants in the country. Couple this with Sarasota’s white sandy beaches and every type of shopping you can imagine. Sarasota has many consignment and thrift shops.

Your rally fee of $195.00, based on 2 people in an Airstream will include your parking, professional paid entertainment nightly, daily seminars on almost every subject imaginable, door prizes, ice cream, continental breakfast daily and a roast beef dinner on Saturday evening. There will be line dancing, ballroom dancing and bingo plus a hobby show, crafts, a fashion show and a pet show.

Camping World will be on the grounds with their repairmen and a company store. If special parts are needed from Airstream, they will be shipped overnight. The repairmen are trained in repairing all Airstreams. General Motors will have Sunset Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC on the grounds with tow vehicles and toweds. Sunset Chevrolet will also be doing a tow vehicle seminar which was extremely informative last year. There will be a First Timers/New Members seminar, which will help people learn what they should carry and answer many questions about their vehicles.

On Saturday there will be a Vintage Airstream Open House. They will be giving tours of their trailers. On Saturday morning there will be the ever popular flea market. All tables are free and you will find everything from trailer parts to everyday household items at extremely low prices. Be sure to bring any extra Airstream parts you have to sell.

The theme this year is “New Friends and Old,” and the colors are Silver and Gold. One of the best things about this rally is that you will probably see friends that you haven’t seen in a while whether they were on a caravan with you or someone you met at a rally. Our charity this year will be All Faiths Food Bank. Monetary contributions will also be greatly appreciated. In this economy many people are turning to food banks to meet their daily needs.

We look forward to seeing you in Sarasota. Remember, the price goes up to $220.00 for two in an Airstream and $170.00 for one in a trailer after January 1, 2012. Registering early also puts you in the drawing for your rally fee to be refunded. The Sarasota Fairgrounds has worked with us to keep our price manageable. Everything depends on our numbers to keep our price low. We have the room for everyone, so come on down.
